We first posted news on theNike Air Yeezys x Kanye West back on April 19th. We just wanted to break down the inspirations behind this shoe, which has been creating lots of buzz. Now, these inspirations are not definite, but were put together by some fans based on Kanye’s own personal taste in sneakers. Nike has come up with another pack, this time entitled the Nike Dunk Japan Pack. They consist of four pairs of Dunks, each one inspired by four different cities in Japan. They include the Osaka/Doutonbori Dunk which pays homage to the food of Osaka, the Fukoaka Dunk which pays tribute to the traditional Yamakasa festival, the Nagoya which is modeled after the symbol of the city - the Gold Dolphin, and finally the Tokyo Dunk which is home to Ling Ling the giant panda since 1970. 720 Degrees - Nike Dunk Low Pro SB

Along with the Piet Mondrian - Nike Dunk Low SB, the 720 Degrees - Nike Dunk Low Pro SB (304292-062) which are set to release this May 2008 are also available at BNYCOnline. They show some love to the 1986 Skateboarding Arcade Classic 720 Degrees. 720 Degrees released in 1986 by Atari, and is one of the first skater games. As you can see, the game has definitely inspired the shoes from the vibrant colors to the checkered lines.

720 Degrees, or 720°, is a 1986 arcade game by Atari Games. 720°, a skateboarding game, is notable in that it is the first extreme sports video game, and has a unique timed structure that requires the player score points in order to keep the game going. The game’s name comes from the “ultimate” trick, turning a full 720° (two complete circles) in the air after jumping off a ramp. 720° has the player controlling a skateboarder ripping around a middle-class neighborhood.
